Often a question that comes up is where do we begin, how does this process work?

The first step is contact us. Send an email or fill out one of our forms with a general idea of what you are looking for and what you may need. For example, you may be looking to redo an existing web site. You can note this and include the web site address so we can review it.

After initial contact Serenity Web Design will contact you back and provide our phone number. At this point we will set up a conference call time or an in person meeting to get a better idea ofthe scope.

After the initial meeting a scope will be set up along with a contract to be approved.

The next step is all the documents such as text, background information and images need to be gathered for the web site. Then a layout will be made for the site.

Another meeting will take place in which layout is reviewed.

Then the design begins. As the site is completed pages will be revealed . At the completion there will be two review phases allowing for tweaks.

This is just a general summary of what is to be expected from the process. We will help you every step of the way and explain everything so you know what is happening at all stages.

What is a domain?:

A domain is your web site name. When a client searches for you on the internet they will type a domain name into the browser window. Ex: www.serenitywebdesign.com (serenitywebdesign.com is my domain). There are many extensions you can get for your domain for example; .net, .inc, .biz however, .com is the most highly recognized one and the first one a customer will type in when trying to find your name.

Coming Soon Serenity Web Design will have it's own blog, where you can check and see even more questions asked and advice given by Owner/Web Developer Christine Harris
